Suzanne Dergacheva to Lead UX and Content Strategy Session as Featured Speaker at DrupalCamp NJ 2025

Suzanne Dergacheva, co-founder of Evolving Web, will be a featured speaker at DrupalCamp NJ 2025, taking place at Princeton University. Her session, "4 Big Ideas in UX and Content Strategy", is scheduled for March 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Designed for professionals involved in content and design decision-making, the session falls under the Theming, Design, & Usability category and will offer a strategic perspective on emerging trends in digital experiences.

Suzanne will explore four major concepts shaping the future of UX and content strategy. She will address the shifting role of a website’s homepage, emphasizing that organic search is no longer a guaranteed source of traffic and that organizations must focus on turning their websites into destinations that actively engage visitors. She will also discuss the value of adopting digital storytelling techniques commonly used by media organizations, demonstrating how these methods can enhance credibility and deepen audience engagement.

Another focal point of the session will be the role of design systems in maintaining a cohesive brand presence across digital channels. While modular design has become a popular approach, Suzanne will provide insights into when a full-fledged design system makes sense—and when it may not be necessary. Additionally, she will highlight the benefits of simplifying website navigation. Many websites rely on sprawling mega menus that can overwhelm users, and she will make the case for streamlining menu structures to improve usability.

In a LinkedIn post, Suzanne underscored the importance of making informed decisions rather than simply following trends.

"Rather than suggesting you jump on the bandwagon with making sweeping changes to your design and content, I'll give you a framework to help figure out whether or not to follow the trend,"

she wrote.

DrupalCamp NJ 2025 will bring together a dynamic lineup of industry experts, including representatives from Drupal 4 Gov, Pantheon, and Evolving Web. More information on the conference schedule and sessions can be found at DrupalCamp NJ’s official website.
