Metadrop Releases VLSuite for Low-Code Page Building in Drupal
Metadrop has introduced Visual Layout Suite (VLSuite), a low-code module designed to simplify and speed up page building in Drupal. The tool allows users—regardless of technical background—to create structured, professional-looking web pages with minimal setup.
VLSuite provides a visual editing experience directly within Drupal’s content interface. Editors can customize layout elements such as columns, colors, and content blocks in real time, without needing to write code or configure complex settings. The module is aimed at reducing time and effort for both experienced developers and content creators.
The tool includes a library of predefined blocks—such as text, images, icons, call-to-action buttons, and videos—that can be arranged and styled using built-in templates. It also supports saving custom layouts as reusable templates, making it easier to maintain consistency across pages.
From landing pages and portfolios to product displays, VLSuite adapts to a range of use cases with features like live previews, drag-and-drop components, and layout flexibility. It integrates smoothly with popular Drupal themes like Artisan SDC and Radix.
Installation is handled like any other Drupal module. For Composer users, dependencies and patches are managed automatically. A submodule, VLSuite Shuttle, further simplifies setup by activating all required components out of the box.
The announcement was made in a blog post by Antonio Núñez on Metadrop’s website. Full documentation and support materials are available through Drupal’s official resources.
