amazee.io Launched Private AI for Drupal at DrupalCon Atlanta 2025

amazee.io announced the launch of its new Private AI solution for Drupal during DrupalCon Atlanta 2025, introducing a fully open-source AI provider designed to prioritize data privacy, transparency, and ease of use.

Developed in collaboration with FreelyGive, the amazee.ai provider integrates large language models (LLMs), embeddings, and vector databases into Drupal sites without compromising user data. The platform allows users to choose their data storage region and ensures full transparency with open source code.

Throughout the four-day event, amazee.io delivered live demos and presentations. Jamie Abrahams, Co-founder and Director of FreelyGive, demonstrated how the new solution simplifies AI integration for developers. Jesus Manuel Olivas from Octahedroid shared insights on how private AI supports the Decoupled Drupal approach. Michael Schmid, Founder and General Manager of amazee.io, demonstrated building a website in five minutes using Drupal AI tools.

The event also highlighted key AI developments, including the release of Claude-generated Drupal modules, full support for agent APIs (MCP), and the introduction of a no-code AI agent swarm framework for Drupal.

To encourage adoption, amazee.io is offering free AI tokens and trial access to its new service. While the current focus is on Drupal, amazee.io plans to expand its open-source AI infrastructure to support a broader range of applications, maintaining a strong commitment to transparency and user control.

"Our goal is to give users choice, flexibility, and transparency, and to bring the same level of security, control, and seamless experience to organizations regardless of their technology stack. We believe this will become an essential layer in the modern data ecosystem, and this is just the beginning."

—Michael Schmid, Founder and General Manager, amazee.io
