Responsible Drupal AI Basics Workshop Scheduled for Florida and New Jersey DrupalCamps
A full-day workshop titled Responsible Drupal AI Basics will be held at two US DrupalCamps in early 2026, offering site builders a structured introduction to using artificial intelligence within Drupal. The sessions are scheduled for at Florida DrupalCamp in Orlando and at DrupalCamp NJ in Princeton.
The workshop is designed for beginner-level Drupal site builders interested in exploring AI-assisted workflows. Participants will work with modules from the Drupal AI ecosystem, including AI Automators, Field Widget Actions, and AI Agents. The curriculum emphasises using AI as an assistive tool rather than a replacement for human oversight.
Attendees will configure AI integrations, experiment with content generation techniques, and review companion tools for auditing and evaluating AI output. Prerequisites include basic Drupal site-building knowledge, familiarity with AI prompt engineering, and access to an API account with an AI provider such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic.
The sessions will be led by Mike Anello, co-founder of DrupalEasy and a long-time Drupal trainer and contributor. The workshop forms part of broader efforts within the Drupal AI initiative to promote responsible and practical AI adoption.
Registration details are available through the respective DrupalCamp websites.
