Drupal Association Board Election Voting Closes 14 August

Voting in the Drupal Association's 2026 At-Large Board election closes on 14 August 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The Association's official election schedule lists eight candidates for one community-elected seat. The new board member is scheduled to be announced on 26 August 2026.

Eligible Drupal Association members who have not yet voted can cast their ballots before the deadline. Membership had to be active by 21 July 2026 at 00:00 UTC for members to be eligible to vote. Members who believe they are eligible but did not receive a ballot can use the contact information listed on the official election page.

The DropTimes sent interview questions to all eight candidates and received responses from seven. The interviews give voters an additional way to compare the candidates' priorities before making a decision.

Bert Boerland addressed Drupal sustainability, while Chris Kelly focused on making Drupal easier to adopt. Darren Oh addressed AI, sovereignty, and contributor health, and Helge Notø discussed open-source stewardship and AI contribution.

James Abrahams discussed sustainable funding, Matthew Saunders discussed community trust and accountability, and Scott Falconer discussed growth, AI, and governance. The DropTimes did not receive a response from Janna Malikova.
