The First Women in Drupal Award to be Held at DrupalCon Europe
The DrupalCon Europe Advisory Board and FFW have launched the first Women in Drupal Award. The award ceremony will be held on 22nd September 2022 and the nominations for the awards are now open.
The jury of this award will consist of members of the Drupal Association and FFW. The jury for this year's award is Baddy Sonja Breidert, Rachel Lawson and Zsófi Major from the Advisory Committee, and Michael Drejer, CEO, FFW. The winners of the Women in Drupal Award this year will be invited to the Jury in 2023.
According to the DrupalCon Prague 2022 website, anyone with a Drupal.org can be nominated. There are three categories for the awards:
- Define: This category includes everyone who works on defining an innovative Drupal project. It can be a strategist, a designer, founders or changemakers of course.
- Build: This category is for builders and makers. Developers, architects, HR specialists or community members who help build a thriving Drupal community can be nominated.
- Scale: In this category everyone involved in scaling platforms or businesses could be a candidate for the Scale award. It’s a category for developers as well as sales talents or consultants.
When submitting the nominations you need to mention the Drupal.org profile and the reason why you are nominating them with your chosen category. The deadline to submit these applications is on 2nd September, 2022.
