DrupalCon Rotterdam to Host AI Dev and Enterprise AI Summits

Organisers have announced two dedicated artificial intelligence summits for DrupalCon Rotterdam 2026 on 28 September 2026. A Drupal.org post by Matthew Saunders says the programme will include the AI Dev Summit and the Enterprise AI Summit, each aimed at a different audience within the Drupal ecosystem.

The AI Dev Summit is designed for developers, architects, technical leaders, and open-source practitioners working with AI-enabled Drupal experiences. Drupal.org says the summit will cover AI-assisted development, Drupal AI, Drupal CMS, Canvas, modern AI workflows, AI frameworks and services, technical demonstrations, and implementation practices from experienced contributors. The official DrupalCon schedule lists the AI Dev Summit from 09:00 to 18:00 CEST at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam.

The Enterprise AI Summit focuses on strategy rather than implementation. It is aimed at digital leaders, executives, product managers, architects, and decision-makers working on organisational AI adoption. Drupal.org says the programme will address AI strategy, governance, measurable business value, security, privacy, compliance, organisational change, and enterprise use cases. The official schedule lists the Enterprise Drupal AI Summit from 09:00 to 18:00 CEST at SS Rotterdam.

The Drupal.org post frames the two summits as connected parts of the same AI discussion. It says successful AI initiatives require both technical expertise and organisational leadership, with developers needing leaders who understand AI’s opportunities and risks, and leaders needing developers who can turn strategy into working systems. DrupalCon Rotterdam 2026 runs from 28 September to 1 October 2026 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with the main conference based at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam.
