$70,000 Prize Fund for Drupal Pitch-Burg States Dries Buytaert

Founder and Project Lead of Drupal Dries Buytaert's recent LinkedIn post reveals they have raised $70,000 (USD) in prize funds for the Drupal Pitch-burg innovation contest in the past week. He hopes the funding will inspire many to participate in the "Drupal Pitch-burg" innovation contest alongside DrupalCon Pittsburgh.

Dries also goes on to thank the Drupal Association and several sponsors. Dries has shared his excitement about the submissions.

Contestants are to submit a 2.5-minute video by May 25, 2023. The finest ideas will be discussed during Dries' keynote talk during the event. Dries argues that digital agencies and end users would be encouraged to contribute funding to the most innovative concepts.

Following DrupalCon Pittsburgh, all submissions will be made public. The Drupal Association will assist in guiding the projects that get funding.
