Their presence was marked by key sessions, including one led by SystemSeed’s CTO, Evgeniy Maslovskiy, which introduced the audience to Anu LMS, an open-source, Drupal-based learning management system. The DropTimes has already covered SystemSeed’s session on Human-Centric Design, delving into how they prioritize user needs in their digital solutions.

SystemSeed's Take on DrupalCon Sessions
Reflecting on the larger trends at DrupalCon, Leo Pitt, Senior Developer at SystemSeed, shared his thoughts on LinkedIn.
"There's this thing called "AI" that people are mentioning quite often. Maybe that's going to go somewhere..."
The Drupal Starshot initiative, which aims to reshape the perception of Drupal as a user-friendly and cost-effective solution, has stolen most of the buzz. Leo remarked on the substantial effort required to shift Drupal’s image, particularly for small businesses, but acknowledged the promising strides already made.
On the development side, Leo praised the framework for integrating AI services with Drupal, leveraging Drupal’s modular architecture.
"The concept of different AI "agents" for various modules, and having them work together, in a pluggable, provider-agnostic way, is very neat and has the potential to unleash some extremely useful functionality for end users, developers, and site builders."
Leo also pointed out a noteworthy new user interface, Blokk.li, developed as a solution for large-scale content management, focusing on usability and practical features. Based on Drupal Paragraphs, this tool is designed with editors of varying technical expertise in mind.
Beyond the Conference Sessions
SystemSeed extended its influence beyond the formal sessions, organizing several social and strategic activities during the event. A pre-conference workshop on company strategy explored the impact of Drupal CMS, aka Starshot, and its significance for the future of composable architecture in Drupal. The team also hosted an exclusive "VIP Dinner" with key figures from the tech industry, discussing pressing topics under the theme, "What keeps you up at night?"
For lighter moments, SystemSeed embraced the fun side of the conference with paddle-boarding sessions and a Rooftop Party at Norrsken, Europe’s largest tech impact hub, which provided an excellent networking opportunity for attendees. As a final touch, they continued their tradition of a community-driven LEGO build, culminating in the construction of a Star Wars “X-Wing Fighter,” given away on the last day as a nod to the Starshot initiative.
SystemSeed’s active participation and leadership at DrupalCon Barcelona 2024, particularly through sessions on Human-Centered Design, Anu LMS, and insights from its developers, exemplified its dedication to advancing Drupal technologies and fostering a vibrant, innovative community.
