Session Submissions Open for Florida DrupalCamp 2025 in Orlando
Florida DrupalCamp 2025, one of the most anticipated gatherings for Drupal enthusiasts, is set to take place from February 21-23 in Orlando, Florida. Known for its educational sessions, collaborative workshops, and focus on community contributions, Florida DrupalCamp brings together Drupal professionals, developers, and users from around the world. The event has officially opened its session submission period, inviting speakers from all areas of the Drupal community to propose topics for the event’s extensive lineup.
This year's event promises a stellar lineup of speakers, featuring notable figures in the Drupal ecosystem. The session details of the featured speakers are yet to be provided.
Lauri Timmanee, product manager for Drupal Core at Acquia, is set to speak. With a tenure in the Drupal community dating back to 2013, Lauri has contributed as a core committer since 2017. Currently, he oversees Drupal CMS and Experience Builder, key projects in Drupal’s ongoing innovation.
Also on the roster is Martin Anderson-Clutz, a Senior Solutions Engineer at Acquia and a track lead within the Drupal Starshot initiative. Known for his extensive work maintaining Drupal projects, Martin is highly regarded for his in-depth technical expertise.
The third featured speaker for the event is Kat Shaw, a Lead Engineer and CPACC-certified web Accessibility Specialist at Lullabot. Rounding out Kat’s work includes significant contributions to accessibility improvements in the Drupal community, particularly her involvement in testing the Olivero and Claro themes and the Drupal Toolbar Redesign.
This year, over 30 sessions will cover an array of topics, from new developments in Drupal to web accessibility, and insights into emerging technologies. The event aims to accommodate a diverse range of skill levels, offering sessions for beginners and advanced practitioners alike, as well as specific tracks that address the needs of developers, project managers, and designers.
