DUGMUC April Meetup to Explore AI Workflows with FlowDrop UI Agents
The Drupal User Group Munich (DUGMUC) will host its April 2026 meetup on 29 April from 18:30 to 21:30 CEST, featuring a session on AI-powered workflows in Drupal. The event includes a presentation by David Galeano Barrado, Drupal AI Core maintainer and senior backend developer at Factorial GmbH.
The session will introduce the FlowDrop UI Agents module, which provides a visual interface for building and managing AI-driven workflows. Instead of relying on configuration-heavy forms, workflows can be designed using a drag-and-drop approach within a single interface.
FlowDrop integrates with the existing Drupal AI ecosystem by storing configurations in standard AI agent entities, maintaining compatibility with existing systems. The module is currently in an alpha stage, and the session will address both its capabilities and its limitations for production use.
The programme includes an introduction to Drupal AI and AI agents, an overview of the visual workflow editor, and a live demonstration of building workflows. Use cases discussed will include content automation, AI-supported editorial processes, and integrations with external APIs.
The event follows a structured schedule, beginning with arrival at 18:30, followed by the lecture at 19:00, an open discussion at 20:00, and closing at 21:00. Full details and registration are available on the Munich Drupal User Group Meetup page.
