DrupalCamp Ottawa 2026 Schedule Released With One-Day Programme
The full schedule for DrupalCamp Ottawa 2026 has been released, outlining a one-day programme of sessions, keynote talks and community activities scheduled for 1 May 2026.
The event will feature sessions across development, accessibility, artificial intelligence and digital strategy, designed for both new and experienced Drupal users. The schedule reflects a mix of technical deep dives, design-focused discussions and broader ecosystem topics.
The programme opens with a keynote by Rod Martin titled The Builder Breakthrough: Confidence Over Confusion, which examines how AI is influencing Drupal site building through automation and guided systems.
Sessions on emerging tools and workflows include DrupalCMS & Canvas: Building a Drupal Site Without Developers, focusing on visual site-building approaches, and Pair Programming with Claude, which explores the use of AI tools in development workflows and module creation.
Accessibility and governance are also featured, with sessions such as Accessible by Design and WCAG 2.1 AA Explained addressing inclusive practices, alongside Code as Constitution, which considers the role of open-source systems in digital infrastructure.
Technical topics include upgrading to Drupal 11 using DDEV and git-worktree, automating workflows with JSON:API and n8n, and managing configuration for more reliable deployments. Design-focused sessions will cover tools such as Penpot and approaches to sustainable CSS and dark mode implementation.
The programme also includes interactive elements such as EvolveUX feedback sessions and discussions on stakeholder collaboration using Sociocracy, followed by closing remarks and a community raffle.
