I am Functional and So Can You
J.D. Flynn starts his session by sharing his perception regarding 'Mental Illness. He mentioned that despite having multiple diagnoses, he is a functional member of society. This session will help the attendees to recognize signs within themselves or those they care about and find ways to get help, accept that mental illness is not a damning diagnosis, and get past the stigma that surrounds people with mental illness.
ENVISIONING A DESIGN SYSTEM MAINTAINED BY THE DRUPAL COMMUNITY
The Generic Drupal Web Components project aims to create a library of web components that are accessible, framework agnostic, possible to style, and easy to use with data provided by Drupal. In support of the Decoupled Menus initiative, an initial menu component was created as a proof of concept. Brian Perry talks about the lessons learned from creating this menu component, and how this model could be followed to create a full design system that could be maintained by the Drupal community at large in this session.
