LagoonCon Portland 2024: Discover the Future of Application Delivery

Following its debut in Pittsburgh last year, amazee.io announced LagoonCon Portland 2024, scheduled for May 6, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. This free event, dedicated to developers and tech industry professionals, will offer insights into Lagoon, an open-source application delivery platform designed to streamline the workflow for managing websites and applications.

The conference schedule includes a series of discussions and presentations from industry experts. Toby Bellwood, Product Lead at amazee.io, will kick off the evening with a session on Lagoon’s latest developments and future roadmap. Following him, Christoph Weber will delve into using private large language models (LLMs) to process highly technical content, emphasizing data sovereignty and privacy.

Later in the evening, Bryan Gruneberg, CEO & CTO at Workshop Orange, will explore the benefits of open-source hosting platforms for the Open Website Alliance. The event will conclude with a hybrid roundtable featuring both in-person and virtual participation from the Lagoon team, providing updates and fielding questions from the audience. While the sessions will not be recorded, the networking opportunities post-discussions provide a valuable space for attendees to connect and share ideas.

The venue, Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, is close to the DrupalCon Portland event and is fully accessible, supporting the inclusivity of the tech community.
