Drupal Association Names 2026 At-Large Board Candidates

Community members now have eight candidates to consider for the 2026 Drupal Association At-Large Board election. The association announced the candidate slate on 7 July 2026 for the single community-elected seat that becomes available each year under its staggered two-year term structure.

The election will fill the seat held by Alejandro Moreno, whose board term runs from 2024 to 2026. The at-large position gives eligible Drupal Association members a direct role in choosing community representation on the board.

The candidates are Scott Falconer, James Abrahams, Bert Boerland, Chris Kelly, Darren Oh, Janna Malikova, Helge Notø, and Matthew Saunders. The Drupal Association has published individual candidate pages on Drupal.org as part of the election information.

The election schedule includes a candidate information period from 7 July to 21 July 2026, an open community forum on 15 July 2026 at 16:00 UTC, and an asynchronous Slack meeting on 16 July 2026 at 15:00 UTC in the #drupal-association channel on Drupal Slack. Voting opens on 22 July 2026 at 00:00 UTC and closes on 14 August 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

Drupal Association membership must be active by 21 July 2026 at 00:00 UTC for members to be eligible to vote. The association is scheduled to announce the new board member on 26 August 2026.
