Discover Drupal Program on Its Second Year

In a bid to uplift historically oppressed communities and fill the gap for junior developers, Discover Drupal is up with a program that offers tools, knowledge and connections to succeed as Drupal Developers. This tailor-made program is especially for those who are interested in Drupal technology. Students also can get scholarships, mentorship and hands-on training with a laptop to work with Drupal.

Some highlights of the program:

• Discover Drupal students are committing to a 1-1.5 year-long program
• Private Slack channel with a dedicated community support network (consistent engagement in this channel is important for program success!)
• Weekly Slack stand-ups to keep everyone on track
• Office hours where all can connect and share experiences or discuss any issues and get support from the wider members
• A laptop suitable for a Drupal environment

This program aims to enable aspirant developers to work with different Drupal modules and websites. This program is divided into two: Drupal Easy and Evolving Web

Program specifics

The program runs from August 2022 to June 2023 and includes the following:

• A laptop suitable for a Drupal environment
• A comprehensive Drupal training curriculum
• A final project resulting in a portfolio site + usable code sample
• 1:1 mentorship with a Drupal expert
• A support network with fellow students, graduates, and mentors
• All expenses paid to DrupalCon North America
• Discover the Drupal Graduate badge on your drupal.org profile
