The New Drupal.org Homepage is Live!
Exciting update for Drupalers around the world as the new Drupal.org homepage has been unveiled. Now design your Digital Experience to your vision with the assistance of Drupal, a fully composable CMS that has had a major 'make-over'.
Suzanne Dergacheva, co-founder of Evolving Web, proudly applauded the collaborative efforts that made this revamping happen. Suzanne notes that the redesign showcases the new Drupal brand and a narrative that resonates with people evaluating Drupal and comparing it to other platforms.
"This project is a testament to the power of open source marketing, with contributions from an incredible community of individuals and organizations."
The project exemplifies the power of open-source marketing, with significant contributions from Evolving Web’s design team and Shawn Perritt's (VP, Brand Strategy & Creative at Acquia) visual branding effort. [Read our interview with Shawn Perritt: Shawn Perritt Discusses Drupal's New Brand Strategy and Future Direction]. The Drupal Association, with the team at Palantir.net, brought the vision to life. Contributions from Promote Drupal participants ensured a cohesive approach to copywriting, UX, and brand storytelling. This collective effort underscores Drupal’s strength as a community-driven platform where volunteers and organizations work together to advance its capabilities.
The redesigned homepage marks the beginning of a series of updates, with the refreshed branding already live on several landing pages. This redesign arrives at an ideal time to generate excitement ahead of the first release of the new Drupal CMS, scheduled for 15 January 2025. The redesign not only modernizes the platform’s look and feel but also builds excitement for Drupal’s future by better addressing the needs of its users.
To learn more about Drupal CMS and the marketing efforts behind this redesign, join Suzanne Dergacheva at EvolveDrupal Summit, Toronto, tomorrow.
