BADCamp 2022: Friday sessions at ‘Inspiration’

Today is the closing day of Bay Area Drupal Camp 2022. Here are the six 45-minute sessions you can catch up on from the Inspiration hall of Dharma College, where the event takes place in Berkeley, California. 

The first session will begin at 9.00 am. Jody Hamilton of Renesas will speak about career partying in Drupal. The session is titled ‘Thoughts on Leading Software Teams.’ She will also deliver another session with slashrsm at the ‘Joy of Being’ hall at 11.00 am today. The details are in this story

The second session this day will revolve around DevOps. Irina Zaks from Fibonacci Web Studio will address the gathering about Gitlab Acceleration Initiative. The session is titled ‘From Drupal CI to Gitlab CI - what, when, and how.’

At 11.00 am, Fran Wyllie, Technical Lead at Northern Commerce, will talk about ‘Accessibility Tools & Best Practices.’

Parallel to these sessions, a training headed by Jesus Manuel Olivas will run from 9 am to 12.00 pm, titled ‘Decoupling Drupal using GraphQL & Gatsby: A Crash Course’ at the Discovery hall. 

After the lunch break, at 1.00 pm, Kevin Reynen of CU-Boulder will present a community case study that places Drupal and BackDrop side-by-side. His title: The University of Colorado chose Drupal over Backdrop. Why I’m glad, we were wrong.

The next session in the ‘Inspiration’ hall tagged Back-end Development is at 2.00 pm. Jordan Thompson, Drupal Solutions Lead at Northern Commerce, who goes by his handle, nord102, will lecture on ‘Custom Importers 101.’

The final session in the event is tagged Front End/Decoupled. Ronald Aguilar, Senior Drupal Developer, in Chapter Three, will talk about ‘What’s Next(js) for Drupal?’ There will not be a parallel session to this at the ‘Joy of Being’ hall.
