A free live webinar introducing Drupal Canvas will take place on Friday, 20 February 2026, from 13:00 to 14:00 EST. Hosted by Suzanne Dergacheva, Co-founder of Evolving Web, the session will explore how Drupal Canvas reshapes the editing experience within Drupal CMS.

The webinar will feature Matt Glaman, Principal Software Engineer at Acquia, Suzanne Dergacheva and Maya Schaeffer, Community Lead at Evolving Web and Board Member of the Drupal Association. Speakers will provide a live demonstration of Drupal Canvas’s drag-and-drop interface and examine how it compares with other CMS platforms designed for marketing teams.

Drupal Canvas is presented as a visual page-building layer within Drupal CMS that enables teams to create and update pages without requiring developer intervention for routine layout changes. The session will cover how Canvas fits into Drupal’s structured architecture, how reusable components and patterns are defined, and how users can preview and selectively publish updates, including site-wide changes such as headers and footers.
